Galley Beggar Live

Many thanks to the fabulous 6-piece band Galley Beggar who played on rootsandshoots today.  They played four songs: Willow Tree, The Wicker Man, Jack Orion and Lucy Grey.

Folk comes to Town

This evening on rootsandshoots we welcomed Kevin Buckland from Wren Music who told us all about the first in a series of Folk Comes To Town ventures in Okehampton.

The Folk Comes To Town Dance Workshop will be run by d'Accord whose regular 3rd Friday get-together for Breton / French music and dance is this Friday 16 March at Ide Village Hall near Exeter.
