Sincere thanks to Ben and Alfie for joining us on rootsandshoots on Monday and for introducing us to songs from their forthcoming album No Measure. Listen to the show here.
They are fantastic young musicians, storytellers and songwriters and we were not at all surprised that they have been invited to perform at the Young Proms at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Read more about and listen to some of Ben and Alfie's music on their blog.
Ben and Alfie's songs were: Velvet Tongued Man, No Measure, Snowfall, After The Noise and For Good. We - and several listeners who got in touch - eagerly look forward to the release of the album.
Get well soon, Alfie! When your finger is fully healed, we'd love you and your brother to come back and play for us on Phonic FM.
